One of FDC’s first flagship customers (2001), who are specialists in school and office equipment, comment on the importance of reliability and the trust given to FDC to manage all of their next day services to its nationwide customer list. They typically sell to schools in the UK and to distributors internationally. Some of its orders are parcels and the rest goes through FDC and the TPN network. “Many of our customers typically want orders yesterday as production schedules change, so next-day delivery is very important. Orders are often urgent and FDC are very flexible, even popping back to pick up last-minute pallets after they have already collected everything else,” says the despatch and warehouse manager. We package our goods extremely well, but even so I can’t remember the last time we made a claim for any loss or damage in transport. FDC are very good.
